STARON® SOLID SURFACE is a material composed of natural minerals and acrylic components.
It looks like natural stones but offers all the advantages of mineral products. Because it is compact and pore-free, it can be processed three-dimensionally and gives designers and designers maximum creative freedom.
It can be used in a wide variety of fields, as it is of superior quality compared to materials such as granite, marble, slabs, or plastic laminate.
STARON® can be moulded by carpenters in the same way as wood. In contrast to stone, STARON® has a warm, smooth, and pleasant to the touch and meets the needs of customers thanks to its many advantages and versatile application possibilities in the private, public, and medical sectors.
The key features of STARON® are its solidity and durability: it is fire and impact resistant and is extremely easy to maintain and repair.
It is also non-porous and homogeneous, qualities that make it resistant to bacteria and easy to clean. It is also refractory to aggressive chemical agents.
Finally, it is free of joints, soft and warm to the touch, with the possibility of gluing with invisible welds and seams. It also provides backlighting – customizable for logo and text – on its entire surface.

To meet the needs of all customers with different regional requirements for design, colour harmony and application areas, STARON® slabs are available in over 140 unique colours, divided into 8 lines: Solid, Sanded, Aspen, Pebble, Metallic, Quarry, Tempest and finally Supreme.
Per quanto si tratti di un materiale altamente resistente ed innovativo, caratteristiche tali per cui la manutenzione possa essere ridotta veramente al minimo, è importante tenere a mente alcune regole per evitare che esso si danneggi nel tempo. In primis, consigliamo di non utilizzare solventi organici: infatti, come conseguenza della natura termoplastica della resina, il contatto diretto di solventi può danneggiare la superficie. È bene inoltre utilizzare panni in microfibra o spugne imbevute con semplice acqua o saponi liquidi per rimuovere sporco e residui dalla superficie. Infine, suggeriamo di evitare il contatto prolungato con superfici roventi: il Solid Surface è un materiale termoformabile, quindi il contatto con pentole o padelle incandescenti potrebbe provocare spiacevoli dilatazioni.
